When visible color variation from a previous supplier put a motor-equipment housing program at risk, JLYPT built a project-specific process-control plan around deep tank cleaning and a dedicated anodizing bath.
The customer approached JLYPT after its previous supplier produced visible shade differences during sandblasting and anodizing. Because the housings form a prominent part of the finished equipment, a uniform metallic appearance was an important acceptance requirement.
JLYPT treated bath cleanliness and mixed-job contamination as key project risks. Rather than relying on a routine shared production setup, the team developed a more isolated processing route for this housing program.

The completed housings show a stable, uniform silver appearance across large visible surfaces and related components. The project demonstrates how a finishing problem can require a purpose-built process-control decision—not simply another production run.
For new appearance-critical programs, JLYPT reviews the alloy, surface preparation, cosmetic zones, approved sample, color target, inspection method, packaging, and repeat-order requirements before defining the production route.
